My name is Jen Hreha. I have had the pleasure of teaching at West Muskingum for the past 14 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement from Marietta College. Then, I chose to go back and earn my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership from Muskingum University and I earned my Teacher Leader Endorsement in 2015. I have also been designated as a Master Teacher by the WM district. My hobbies include reading, cooking and I love playing cards with my friends and family. I also love penguins and am a big football fan! I have been married to my husband, John, for five years and I have two stepchildren; Dakota, a junior at OUZ and Maddy, a sophomore at WMHS.
I look forward to a great year teaching your children. I am very excited to begin a new year in this beautiful builidng and working collaboratively with my colleagues to develop a curriculum that meet our students' needs through flexible grouping and incorporating technology in the classroom. I also love to incorporate art, music and games in my curriculum.
Parents are always valued and welcomed in my classroom. I use volunteers in copying, cutting, stapling materials, etc., and helping to work with students in small groups. I hope that you will consider volunteering in our room this year (please send a note or email if you would like information on volunteering in the classroom).
