Anatomy and Physiology is a junior/senior level college preparatory that focuses on the normal structure and function of the body and understanding the relationship of body systems in maintaining homeostasis.  Learning experiences in the class include laboratories, group activities and individual projects.  

Learning objectives for Anatomy and Physiology include:

  • Identifying the structure and location of each of the major body systems.
  • Describing the functions of each of the major body systems.
  • Discussing the interrelationship of the organs and body system
  • Analyzing case studies and performing laboratory exercises demonstrating the principles human anatomy and physiology. 

Anatomy and Physiology is a block-long class with a prerequisite of previously earning at least a C in Biology.
