Welcome to West Muskingum Schools!
We are excited to have your family join the Tornado community. If you are a resident of West Muskingum, you can begin the enrollment process by downloading the Consent for Student Records Release, Student Enrollment form, and the Home Language Survey. Registration must be completed by the parent or legal guardian. Documentation of the following will also be required:
- Copy of birth certificate
- Immunization records
- Proof of residency
- Parent/Legal Guardian photo ID
- Divorce/Custody papers (if applicable)
- Current IEP/ETR/504 Plan (if applicable)

Kindergarten Registration for 2017-18
Children who will be five years old on or before July 31, 2017, are eligible to register for kindergarten at West Muskingum Elementary School for the 2017-18 school year. For more information call 740-455-4058.
(Children who will not be five on or before July 31, can be evaluated for possible early entrance to kindergarten. Evaluations must be scheduled through the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center by calling 740-452-4518.)
Families living outside of the West Muskingum School District must first submit an Open Enrollment application and return it to the administration center at 4880 West Pike. The application for the 2017-18 school year is available by clicking on the link under Forms. October 1 is the deadline for first semester applications. Applications for second semester can be submitted between January 1-20.
Beginning in the 2017-18 school year, West Muskingum Schools will house two preschool classes in West Muskingum Elementary School. Children who are age three and four as of August 1, are eligible to apply for enrollment. Classes are held four full days per week, Tuesday – Friday, based on the district/building calendar. Flexibility is available to allow families to set part time schedules upon request. An income based sliding fee scale is utilized to determine tuition costs. Transportation is usually available through the school district.
