District Profile

West Muskingum Local Schools, located approximately 55 miles east of Columbus just off interstate 70 in Muskingum County, offers a unique blend of rural and suburban neighborhoods. The district serves approximately 1,600 students in Muskingum and Licking counties. The district is approximately 81 square miles and includes both Falls and Hopewell townships. 
 

The district facilities consist of three school buildings housing students in a 9-12 high school, a 5-8 middle school, and a PreK-4 elementary school. The district has worked with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission to construct a new high school, renovate an existing middle school and construct a new elementary to complete the original Master Plan.
